Early registration closes March 9

To secure the early-bird registration rate of $175, you must register by noon (Central) on March 9. After March 9, you must register on site for $200. You must pre-register if you plan to attend the CAR Mini-Boot Camp. (The Web Frameworks Boot Camp is currently full.)

When you register, pick up your ticket for the Friday night event at The Jazz Kitchen, one of Indy's top destinations for local and national talent. You can purchase tickets on the conference registration form. Advanced tickets are $15 and include two drinks.

Caspio to offer one-stop training at CAR '09

In conjunction with the 2009 CAR Conference, Caspio will offer a free Day-Long Boot Camp for existing Caspio Bridge clients at the Sheraton City Centre in Indianapolis. The hands-on class will provide in-depth training to empower participants with the latest tools and insights to create complete end-to-end web applications efficiently and maintain them with ease. The boot camp will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, and is limited to 18 registered attendees on a first come, first served basis. Click to register

Caspio will also offer a Fast Track for Educators that includes accelerated session topics for those interested in using Caspio Bridge in the classroom. This special mini-boot camp will be held from 9 a.m. to Noon on Sunday, March 22. Click to register

Seats are filling up for the Mini Boot Camp

In this track for CAR beginners, special morning panels will be coordinated with hands-on classes in the afternoon. The combination will give participants a mini-boot camp experience with plenty of opportunity to apply what they learn to reporting and writing news stories.

Participants are pre-registered for a series of classes, modeled on the IRE and NICAR 5-day CAR Boot Camp curriculum. This will offer 10 hours of hands-on instruction in Internet, spreadsheets and database management.

There is no extra charge to reserve a seat in the Mini-Boot Camp but, due to its limited availability, please sign up only if you will attend all sessions. There are 36 seats available on a first come, first served basis. Don’t forget to sign up for the Mini Boot Camp when completing your conference registration.
